how to migrate over from dm800 to ubuntu

hi all dose anybody no how to migrate over from a dm800 to ubuntu server ? so i can use the same dns server ? i think i might have to change my ip on the dm800 and put it on the ubuntu server would this work ok ??????? and what about the cccam.cfg would i have to create a new one ??? with my card settings and card reader ???? hope to hear from you soon thanks
