Dreambox 800HD or what ?

Hi All. I'm new here. I am upgrading after collapse of Technomate 5400/6800. I bought a Protek9600ip box which is great, however I want to upgrade to HD and also learn how to "Linux". So I landed on DM800HD. Now I find there are clones and now there clones and multitude of clones. I have some experience of buying electronics in China and boy is that a minefield. I have read for 2 weeks now but a lot of info is 1-2 years old so I would appreciate any help. Can I also ask a stupid question , do all the immages just do C/S or do some do EMU? Is there anwhere there is a compare immages help.could'nt get any info on this

If your looking to buy a dm800 make sure its got the rev M tuner that is the latest very good for Hd channels

M tuners are now supplied with all dm800s from ukdreamshop as far as i am aware.. a few people have said these do NOT require the inline amp after tests
