you need to put box into flash mode , remove power , wait 30 seconds , apply power whilst holding on/off button in , some text should appear on led screen "stop , http mode" or somethin along them lines

Can you not move the box to near your router and try and update it via a fixed wired connection i.e. without the wireless bridge? I always thought that when updating firmware it's better to do it via a fixed connection rather than wifi.

I have wifi on one box and i can't flash it this way as it doesn't see the wifi till you have an image on it, so as has been said you really need to take it near your router and flash it with a cable conected to your router.

without wishing to sound like an arse mate, you have been told 3 times now how to fix this but you still insist on trying it your way.

do it either via null modem and DreamUp or via a hardwired Ethernet cable..

if you ask for help mate, its generally best to take it rather ignoring it and trying to find your own way

a null modem cable with cost you ?5 on ebay , an Ethernet cable even less..

these boxes require the correct equipment, you cant just gash it and hope for the best..

as i say to a lot of people.. these boxes are in essence a mini PC using Linux OS with an attached Sat / Cable / DVBT tuner.. you have to do things the correct way
