maybe you have the faulty batch of the L3 tuner that does not work with the in-line, check the sticker on teh underneath of the tuner, the batch affected i read somewhere was 6/2010 and 7/2010

For anybody thinking of buying one , please do your homework 1st , or go with recomendations , somebody may do them for ?120 , but they may be a bag of shite , and last a week , also best to buy from uk , as returning faulty products to far east is expensive , thats if the retailer allows you too .

best sim 2 box in my opinion is bubbles link above
      best Ferrari box is http://www.primusat.co.uk/index.php?...id=91&TreeId=1

          This one here is ace

DM800HD (S) (NEW VERSION DM800PRO) SATELLITE RECEIVER LATEST TUNER REV (M) - ukdreamshop

I bought it last week and am very impressed with the quality of this version, the tuner is spot on and has better cooling than older ones that got really hot.

These new DM800+ do seem to have become more solid in their transisition. REV M tuners seem to run cooler and no longer glitch on the 12324 freq. Also the fan off on standby is a plus.

See attached not tried this myself so read carefully before you attempt anything on your box.
you do not need to flash bootloader 76c after you already flashed an image with it included on it i.e. all the images have bootloader 76c on them already

maybe so stef , but just to be sure , flashing the 76c patch takes seconds , and wont do any harm if its already in the image anyhow
btw , not all images have it within

Hmm..the glitching on freq 12324 is the issue I have with a L3 tuner...affects Discovery HD, ESPN HD and Disney Cine HD. I was thinking I had a slight dish alignment issue. Mybe I need a rev M tuner...they are over priced at the minute though...

Fan off on standby mod you can do yourself by soldering negative wire on Fan to Pin 8 on SCART.

The actual fans they use in the clones are rubbish....bearings get noisy very quickly...low quality fans...I disconencted my'n and now use a laptop cooler USB powered.
