Only some HD channels are working

Hi All,
I have a Dreambox 800 HD and can not get some of my HD channels to work, I am running Gemini Project

gemini2-500-dm800-20100429212229.nfi with Cam 2.1.4

I have the Full sky package excluding ~~~~. I cannot get SKY Sports 1 2 3 4 HD to work, nor the Crime HD channel, all of the rest of the HD channels work fine, can someone point me in the right direction please?.

when you say you have the full sky package do you mean you have a sky card or you are using a share..??

I have a sky card, I have the white sky card, the DM800 sees the card it will let me view most o fhte HD channels but Not the SKY sports and the odd other channel.

When I try to view some HD channels I get Service not found ,(SID not found in PAT)

have you put your Boxkey in etc..??

I don't use my Dreambox for Sky anymore but I do remember when I did there where about 5 Sky Sports HD channels listed for each channel.. Have you tried them all..???

Yes mate, I have my boxkey in and all is working except for SKY Sports HD 1 2 3 4 channels and the odd other HD channel, its wierd, I would ahve expected all HD channels to either work or not, not just a few of them

You deffo got the Sky Sports HD package..???

I'd be tempted to put it back in my official Sky box overnight just in case its an update problem..

Or try a different image..

Are you getting any onscreen messages or is it just blank..??

When you choose the channel is the N in the infobar green or is it staying yellow..??

Have they ever worked or is this a new problem..??

Hiya mate,
I have just put my card back into my SKY HD box and am watching in Man City v Fulham HD now, I have just setup my DM800, when I change channels to SKY Sports HD the N stays YELLOW, I am not that up to speed on the toher images of I would try another one, I cant seem to get CAMs installed on the others I am trying to learn as I am facinated by Dreamboxes and Linux

The screen is just Blank

Press the blue button on your remote to get into the blue panel.. make sure you are using CCcam 2.14 or higher..

press the green button when this panel is on screen to stop/start the Cam..

the only other thing i could think of is that you need an inline amp..

I am using CCam 2.1.4 I have reset the DM800, then stoppednand started the CCcam, No difference, I will look into an inline AMP, thanks for the help, its been doing my head in, I just wish I knew a bit more about them.

I may rebuild the box from scratch, fresh image install and all.

When was the last time you did a full scan of the 28.2 satellite? Make sure its up to date

have u pressed the menu button and changed tuner to dvb s2 i had to do this on sky sports to get mine working dont ask me why but it worked for me

Sorry Guys, I did a scan this morning. I have covered the basics, but thats about where my knowledgde ends, I only set the box uplast night and did a scan this morning, I also added the Bouquets.

Last night I flashed the Gemini image, with the ssl76C_20100909 image after it was installed, went through the setup, downloaded CCcam 2.1.4 and installed, installed the CCcam tool from the plugins, I havecheck in the tool ans it says all should be ok.

I have 3 x 500s boxes running in th house with their own SKY cards (NOT HD) though, and they are fine just these few bloody HD channnels, I have put the correct boxkey in using Dreambox Config Creator.

Yes the Tuner is on DVB S2.

well i'm stumped mate.. its funny that the N is staying yellow.. this would suggest you dont have the rights to open that channel but you can open it in your Sky Box..

Some 800's did have trouble opening certain HD channels which was sorted by fitting an inline amp.. The L3 tuner should have sorted it but on the rare occasion i know it didn't..

Have you tried to manually scan the transponders for the channels you cant get..?

Just try scanning the following manually..

11798 H 29500 3/4 see if that brings up Sky Sports HD1 that you can view

I am going through that as we speak. I just find it strange it is SKY sports HD annd a few silly others, Crime HD and 1 HD Movie channel. I will persist and will post a resolution if I get 1,
