hi chaps i have shortly to be delivered a DM800HD

I was thinking of buying a internal sata drive but havent the money this side of christmas' but i do have a usb external seagate harddrive 320GB which i was wondering if i could use

the other question is if it were connected to the DM800 could i connect to the hard drive through my network because it has lots of pictures that the kids like to look at

Your external drive will work fine, you need to format it ext3, for the dreambox, as for the photos you can view them on your dreambox but i'm not sure if you could view them from your pc if the drive is on the dreambox.
