Mate.. I know you are keen having just got your box but try and use the search function, google and other mediums.. These boxes are trial and error.. If you ask a question each time you are stuck before trying anything members will get a bit necked off mate.. Try and have a good read first before jumping in with both feet..

Post what you have done and tried first not just 'help me'..

Well I know what I am doing and its taken me 5 days to get 28 19 16 13 and 10 set up correctly. If you want to scan all the available satellites then you are in for a lot more than 1 day trying even if you knew exactly what you were doing.

If you are truly stuck then you need to post what you have done, what has worked, what hasn't worked and exactly what you are trying to do. People will not answer such general questions without some idea of what you are actually trying to do.

i was told the dm800 was far supperior so was expecting it to be able to do the same and more

Use a program called dbedit and load a multi sat list on, there is one mentioned a few posts back. This will save you having to scan all the different sats.

I think you need to set the sats up before you scan by searching for them in rotor setup. I use PLI so its likely not exactly the same as yours anyway but for sure it splits into 2 tasks, getting the sats saved in your positioner and then scanning for the channels on them, don't confuse the two.

if you tell us what you have tried it's easier to narrow down things.. not just a 'help me'

To be honest standarren I've replied to all of your help questions constructively, as this one is.. The D800 is a step up.. reading up, rather than jumping in the deep end will be more favorable for you in the end
