    ?6 to make dm800 wireless

    Just a heads up , my mate had a dilemna as he couldnt hard wire his dm800 with ethernet cable .He shopped about abit and found a suitable dongle for ?6 delivered

    plugged it into usb port , powered box up , entered network settings page , input details , and connected great

    Great!! Was just about to start a thread about finding the cheapest compatible dongle, sat shops charging ?25 + for em.

      any type from the list mate , although that looks pretty cheap at ?6 , and as you say ?25 upwards off sat shops , notice they dont list the model too , so you cant shop around

                      I got the TP Link off Amazon and it doesn't work in any image that I have tried.

                        Some people are reporting this works with VU+ boxes without any plugin or image modification. I'm not sure of the image used. I'm hoping it will work with VIX 1.3

                          Sorry mate it won't work as its probably version 4.1, the older versions use to work not the new ones.

                          I got the belkin for a couple of quid, just need to go through the list and find the cheapest one.

                            Yes milkcup86 is right dont get the tp-link ones as they are all new version now 4.0, you need below that if you getting a tplink dongle

                              i was going to buy the tp link myself after reading it on this thread, but will avoid now.

                              can anyone recommend one which will definitely work and in the same price range. a link would also be great.
