Are you trying to use it as a form of homeplug??
I thought these things acted as a router themselves.

        This has four operation mode
        Access Point
        Ethernet Adapter
        Gateway
        Universal Repeater

I am trying to use as Ethernet adapter, I know I have waisted ?35. I work at a university so I Got one the postgraduate student who studies IT to have a look at and he could not connect it either.
I bet it would be so simple for someone who knows what they doing but for me this turned out to be impossible task.
Hope Santa will fix it when he calls in tonight

oh... WN727N ver 3 use Ralink RT5370 chip instead of RT3070 that's in the old ver 1.

I have bought the ver3 recently too , as i saw it smaller and look good , but cant use in DM800.

oh well, it works in the vu duo with vix image installed, i do have a belkin 54mb rt73 which works on dm800 thought id try a n stick, the belkin runs without issues so no worries
