    DM800 eSata hdd

    Hi everyone,
just switched to DM800 from ipbox9000... so im kinda new to it.
I have perterPan flashed and installed a hdd (500gb Fujicom) connected to eSata (with external power)... it's not mounted...
i go to "harddisk initialize" and it says "no hdd found"
Does it have to be formatted a certain way before? (tried fat32, ext2..) ...
    any help appreciated...

Check the esata cable is pluged into the mainboard, as if a hdd was previously internal fitted it maybe disconnected inside

I event bypassed it and connected a 3'5 sata directly to the main board... also tried a WD external hdd in eSata...
can the clone be faulty... havent come by a thread with this kinda problem...

2.5" sata runs on 5v me thinks. this is what the dm800 has

your 3.5 will be 12v so it wont work
