    re my dm8oo tuner problems

My previous posts explained how i had a working dm800 hd but decided to change the tuner to eradicate the glitching. purchased a new tuner with a 2.01 sim card. when it arrived one of the capacitors was missing. Replaced this with the help of this forum. Still wouldnt boot so went back to try the old tuner still the same wont boot. The receiver boots when i remove either of the tuners. been reading and reading and ive read that there are a set of drivers that can be uploaded for the clone boxes will this help or have i got 2 damaged tuners and need to buy another one? Anyone on here do repairs for tuners. Also the second tuner may not be compatible with my motherboard but the first one should still work? Could i purchase an original tuner and would that stop the glitching. Bit long winded but its been out of action for 2 months Lol

cheers for your replys as always

ok another update. when i turn the box on without the tuner i get the enigma 2 logo and setup wizard which i can setup all be it useless with no tuner. Then i put the tuner back in and i get the nabilosat hd logo which then goes into a rebooot mode. so i dont know how iv managed it but the box wants to run enigma2 image but the tuner wants nabilosat hd image. Any ideas as to how i can rectify the confliction

    cheers

      another update
ok ive just realised that when the tuner is not inserted the box boots up the nabilosat blackhole image and when its not inserted it just loops on bootup so i guess its the tuner that is the problem but i cant see why

      cheers

I am pretty sure i read somewhere that using a ssl72 image will work with all tuner revs , try one on each of the tuners from a cold boot with tuner fitted
