Dm 800 motorised set up problem

Setting a box up for my mate.My Dm 800hd is working fine and goes from sat to sat with no problem and has latest set of bouquets.

Ive done exactly the same with this box and used simple mode usals ands put in my long and lat to test on my set up.

The problem im having is every time i swap sats most of the time i dont get a lock and getting tune failed and im having to go into satfinder eachtime to have a play and its baffling me as i dont have this problem on my set up.

Ive set it up exactly the same but get different results.

    Any advice guys,

    Andy.

I have reflashed and thought id cracked it but when i put a newer bouquet on im back to square one.

Sometimes it changes sats if i select a certain channel probably due to a strong transponder im guessing but on my box i can select any channel and it moves and locks on.

      Still searching for an answer.

1 reset motor via reset button at motor.
2 select (1w thor) on receiver select a fta frequecny from kings of sat.
3 position the motor using the left&right cursor until picture comes on screen and adjust until signal is strong

4 then use "go to satellite" for requires sats

5 please note not all transponders which are first in the list of frequency have a signal (thus the satellite misses)

Thanks for the input mate, crazy thing is i tried again yesterday and its working fine so im guessing its a dodgy tuner or it isnt sitting correctly.
Not the motor as my original box was moving the dish fine.
