How can i get fta channels on my dreambox dm800?

Hi all i am very new to all this so any answers that you give please could you reply for a thick person.....Me

I have a dm800hd in my motorhome and i am using a motorized Camos 40cm dome, when i scan on the astra satellite i can only get bbc1 HD,BBC2,BBC3, ITV1 HD,ITV4,and FIVE i can't get ch4 or any other FTA channels.

When i do a scan that is the only channels that it finds, i have not updated the box ( because i don't know how to) any help would be very helpfull.

how are u doing the search mate?

Hi mate, i am just going in to the menu then setup, service searching and then automatic scan. i hope this helps.

i would try and flash a new image mate as im sure the original dreambox image just gives these channels personally a new image wont do any harm anyways

How would i do that and what is i good image, and 1 more question Owen how many more channels will i get when i get another image

do manual search by entering the frequency and symbol rate manually
