There is a proramme called hyperterminal use that instead of dreamup, and i think this can show information when you connect the box and try to start it.

Could always take the lid off and make certain the tuner is fitted correctly,sim is in correct and look for any dry joints other than that i dont know mate it could be anything.

By now i would have threw it in the bin
I would let it cool down and try again.You never know it might have overheated.

Open up your dm800 and take the tuner out ,then try to power your box up and see if it boots .

DreamUp Patched to send image to the DMbox

Try DreamUp Patched version you can find here. I had the same problem and with this version of DreamUp , I could put another image.

allready tryed that. when i select an image i get this error :

sorry but you should read my post before. I have no LCD informations:black all the time.

well the box can set it normaly 10 above the the normal pc ip
or it might set it to its normal one depends on the way you are connected to it.

you might need to borrow front panel with lcd.

did you try

have you a spare dm800 you can get hold of if so follow what post 21 said about starting up dreamup with other box then after it connects pull lead from back of working box plug your box into cable then hit button to flash.this should help if its just a case of bad image on box ect.... hope this helps

i have had similar problem on 2 boxes however have come across a way to boot box however it is not a remedy it just enables u to boot box, u need to remove cover ,then remove tuner and using hair dryer apply plenty of heat to heatsink then plug in power to box tried this twice and booted boxes both times,
