CCCam for dm800se

Hello I need help,

I've been searching everywhere and could not find out how to manually install CCCam on the orginal enigma2 firmware. The only tutorials I find could find is for the dm500hd.

I would really appreciate it if someone could help.

I'm using the orginal dmm image. I don't think there is a gemini image out for the dm800se. The only images I found while searching online was a OoZooN Image.

the OoZooN image has been widely commended, even on the Gemini official forums

Hi.

Is the OoZooN the best image to use for the DM 800 se, for using the latest CCcam (2.2.1, I think it is) ???

I have found the iCVS image that is working with Gemini plugins (because I need the CCcam) and it is working well until now.
But I am thinking to change to OoZooN to use the new USB dongle, DVB-T and Wifi, support, which are great features for me. What do you think?

Which PLI image are you using?

I could only find Beta PLI images and the main problem was that I could NOT find any CCcam related plugins (CCcam-config and CCcam 2.2.1) for the latest PLI (Beta) images (2.0 or older)!

Hi,

Only the beta version is out for the dm800se from open pli.

Download and flash your box with any of the openpli beta images. Do not use the 2.0 beta versions.

Once flashed download the latest cccam plugin from menu options/plugins/press green button/scroll all the way down to softcams/Here you will see the latest cccam.

Hi.

I want to try various new images to decide which one is best for me.

But I have a concern: I have created Bouquets, i.e. folders for categories like "SPORTS", "DOCUMENTARIES", "CINEMA", "NEWS" etc., under the Favourites and I have saved many channels under those. Since this took a long time for me to organize them, I would NOT like to lose them. So, can I backup them up somehow, so that when I install the new image, I can then restore ALL of them and exactly as they are now?

That is a very good question!
I have downloaded the cccam 2.2.1 for Gemini and various other cccam for other images. Does anyone know the locations (folders) to extract the content of the cccam compressed files, for the following images:
- iCVS
- PLi
- OoZooN
- NDG Nemesis
- Enigma 2
- Newnigma2

Also, in Gemini we also needed to have the cccam-config installed. Is cccam-config also needed for the above images?

I have installed DCC my friend and it connects fine to my Dreambox DM800se (after some basic initial setup of course). But, the problem is that although I have backed up all my configuration (XML) files to my hard drive, then, when restoring, my saved favourites do not appear again, although the (ALL) channels list is restored fine.
Also, using DCC I cannot flash an image, since it appears it does NOT support the DM800se for flashing images. Therefore, I can flash my DM800se only with the original "traditional" way, using the DHCP IP of Dreambox, through my Web browser.
Any ideas? Any idea for any new DCC version to support my DM800se?
