800HD motor position out , any reset?

    800HD motor position out , any reset?

    I have a 800hd set up , i have replaced the motor but now everytime i drive to a sat position the sat is out 12degrees , i can find every sat i need using the satfinder , but when i then try to scan say 28.2 it will goto 40 , i have usals set up same as it was before when it was working ok , any way of resetting motor positions through dreambox??any help would b appreciated...cheers

    is your long and latitude set right? on my dm800 i had to go into positioner movement and set it manually to 28.2e then restart enigma then reenter my long and lat and bobs your uncle, also sometimes u need to reset system to default then start again this works also mate

      Alan Assuming you have dissmantled you dish set up to replace the motor, I think you might need to start from scratch. Drive to zero reset your motor, then drive it to 1w or whatever you use and line your dish up to get the best signal. Then see how that is. Not great weather for it right now.

        this, also if you have east/west the wrong way round in youur position settings it will cause this.

          Thanks for the replies , long and lat are fine , tried factory reset , still the same , i have been up to dish with a meter and all sat signals are great , trying on a 500 box now and doing a recalculate , hopefully if i get it set up on this it will work ok on 800......
