Hi, cross epg works on dreamelite phoenix edition as i have it working, you will need a usb stick so it stores epg on that as it takes abit more space then rytec,

install TS panel and find cross epg , select storage device then opentv and choose 28.2 and download it gets epg from dish so never goes down

I tried cross epg last night but couldn't get it to work.
I'll try again tonight. I have USB stick and I installed Crossepg from tspanel.
Not sure what I'm doin wrong.
Any chance of a step by step ?

Hi All,
I'm a complete cable/sat box newbie with no Linux skills. I am however fairly technically skilled and an IT Pro. Is there a map or flowchart that will explain the relationship between the different system components, e.g. firmware, boot loader, image, modules, add-ons etc. I've borrowed a DM800 HD PVR (presumably a clone) with a cable tuner for evaluation. I need to make it work in a way that it can be operated by my wife and kids. Currently we have a Samsung dual tuner HD PVR supplied by the cable tv operator. With a single press of a button the EPG which displays all channels for several days is displayed. To record a program you simply select the program on any channel and press the Rec button - done! I have not been able to get to this stage with this box, in fact not even close. Any help or pointers in the right direction on how I would go about would be greatly appreciated. I've spent about 4 hours browsing various forums but I'm struggling since all post seem to assume everyone has knowledge about how the boxes work on a lower level, which I don't...
