Take it you are not downloading anything like torrents??It is not a dish problem or signalproblem. I have 90-100% signal. Remember that this connection works perfect with my old DM500 and the same C-line. Some TV1000 on 5e is working ok, but TV2 News will not open at all, untill I switch off receiver No1. STRANGE isn?t it.
Is this a separate line from a twin Lnb?Not spliced??

It is not a problem with the LNb or something else. Remember everything works perfect on receiver no2 when I take off the power on WLAn on Receiver no 1. So it is still a connection problem. But I wonder why some channels on 5E works ok and some other will not open, until the WLAN No1 is shut off. Then they come at once.Comment

They are both wireless. If I take as example TV2 News 5E, this channel will not open on receiver no 2, when No1 is on. But if I change no 2 with old DM500, all channels works perfect, also TV2 News 5E. I will try to change my 2 C-lines between the 2 receivers to see if that will change something, but I doubbt, because it works perfect when receiver no 1 is off.Comment

Can u confirm u have a twin lnb ?It is not a problem with the LNb or something else. Remember everything works perfect on receiver no2 when I take off the power on WLAn on Receiver no 1. Yes, I have twin LNB, Twin for 1W and a twin lnb for 5W. But today I switched both receivers on, it did not work again, so it was a lucky punch that it worked 50% last night. So we are back to the Ip adress again.Comment

It sounds like your cline provider only allows a single connection from the same external IP address to me. If that is what you're asking then it is possible to only allow a single connection in that way, in which case your cline provider may be able to help you.My master plan is to live forever..... going to plan so far

Remember it works with DM800 and DM500 at the same time. And the Dm500 has the same C-Line as I have put in Dm800 No 2Comment

In that case conflicting IP addresses assigned to the DM800's. On the DM800's go into setup, network and assign them manually giving them different IP addresses, so if one that's working has an IP address of 192.168.1.10 assign the other the IP address of 192.168.1.11. make sure the subnet addresses, nameservers and default gateways are the same thoug, otherwise they may not be able to access the internet.
Or have you already posted the IP address information of each DM800 box here?My master plan is to live forever..... going to plan so far

I have tried this. It will not work. One in another forum, says that the only way is to buy a cardreader and change the sim with a program. I don?t know if anyone here can confirm that it is the only way to solve the problem. This guy says it is.Comment

Happy New Year mate, the only thing that stands out is we all are saying the same thing and assign diff ips to both boxes to sort it and make sure no other wireless devices are on.
Is it possible your homeplugs are playing up??
Can you go direct with ethernet??
Have you tried getting a test line from someone else to see if that changes anything cos it all seems a bit strange.
Just keep trying something different.

Happy new year to all. I am glad that so many will help me. So far it is still not working. The testline is ok. I wonder that my DM500 with IPadress 192.168.2.3 and DHCP "on" works perfect together with DM800 no1 at the same time. When I manually type this IP adress in my DM800 no 2 it is still not working. So I think it must be something with the mac-adress which is the same on both DM800. The problem is that I dont know how to change it. I have tried to put in an extra line in ETC/Network/Interfaces but without succes.Comment

If you assign the IP address manually you will also have to fill out the netmask (I think), the default gateway and the domain name servers - otherwise it will be unable to find it's way to the internet. Doesn't matter about the duplicate MAC address if you're assigning addresses manually.
So gather together the following:
DM800 No.1
IP address
Network mask
Default gateway
Domain name servers
DM800 No.2
IP address
Network mask
Default gateway
Domain name servers
DM500S
IP address
Network mask
Default gateway
Domain name servers
If you can't get the info for DM800 No.2 it doesn't matter, but having that info first will help.My master plan is to live forever..... going to plan so far

Here are what I have noticed:
DM800 no1
Ip adress: 192.168.2.2
Netmaske: 255.255.255.0
Routeradresse: 192.168.2.1
Prim?r DNS: 192.168.2.1
Sekund?r DNS: 194.239.134.83
Dm800 no2
Same as No1 except when i manually change Ipadress on both receivers, without any success. All every details are the same
DM500
Ip adress: 192.168.2.3
Netmaske 255.255.255.0
Routeradress: 192.168.2.1
Nameserver: 192.168.2.1
Gateway:: 192.168.2.1
Macadress: 00:90:4b:39:48:16
Hope this is what you need. I am sorry if any word?s are in danish, but maybe you can understand them. I have noticed today that it will not help to switch off Receiver No2 to get no 1 to work perfect. It is only when you shut off the Wlan, No 1 is working perfect again. That means all problems has something to do with communication and not LNB?s or C-lines. I have tried today with cable on receiver no2, but that did not change anything. They could still not work together on same time.Comment
