Dish overturning problems, Help please..

Hello all, Not posted for a while and my Dreambox 800HD is currently not in use so I thought I would turn to DK for help.

So the problem lays in not finding a channel and the SNR being 0%, I'm not sure why but if I turn my dish from say, Sky Sport 1 Germany ( 19.2E, isn't showing ), to BBC1 England (28.2E ) it shows for say 2 seconds, The SNR goes to 66% then 30ish % then 0%, Is the dish overturning ?, If so how can I fix it, If you have any advice on how to fix it please let me know, Or if you think it may be something else let me know still for that matter.

if both 19.2 and 28.2 were working before, it sounds like either your motor has moved a little east on pole or dish on the motor. If you move from hotbird 13 to 19.2, does it also pick up sky germany for a couple seconds?

personally would take the dish down and remount it after checking your motor is ok

Moter is ok, The dish is turning, and no I don't pick up 19.2E for few seconds, Only pick up 28.2E for few seconds, when changing from a lowers satellite than 28.2E to 28.2E ( For example 19.2E to 28.2E ).

This makes me think It needs tweaking a little west due to it being a touch to the east, Correct me if I'm wrong, Anyone got a solution preferably one that does not require removing the dish of the mount.

Are you using diseqc or usals for moving the dish.

just because the motor turning mate dont mean its ok to be honest what sort of motor is it?

ur long and lat has been changed by accident or anything?

hi you could try reseting the motor to factry default I had the same prob with a technomate motor done areset probs sorted hope this helps plonker

I'm using Usals, And not sure about long and lat changed, also not sure what motor it is, it was provided by the guy that installed my stuff .

Nope, No image change or nothing, When I go to Sly sports 1 for instance 28.2E and then go to Menu > Set-up > Service Searching > positioner set-up > and tweak to the west, I start recieving SNR, When I get to around 60% on it I back off the menu, then when it says zap back to services before positioner setup i say YES, then go to channels Sky sports 1, then nothing ?

Am I not locking it or what ?

can you get the free channels ? are they clearing ?

No, Free channels don't work either, Is there any way to tweak the dish west and lock it if you get me ?

there will be buttons on the motor itself to move the dish manually.
