    dm800 clone trouble

    i wonder can anyone help me, i have a dreambox dm800 clone with sim 2.01. recently i downloaded and installed backup ssl76d sifteam149 image from dreamOEM. this image dosn't work too well for me.but i cant get rid of it.when i try to flash another image using dreamup everthing goes well until iget the message box is updating from its memory then nothing happens it just hangs. when i reboot the box it boots straight into this image that i
    am trying to get rid of ihave tried various versions of dreamup including the patched version i can change the ssl using dreamup so it is booting this file from memory as it should i wonder why it is not doing this with full image file.i will be gratefull for any help i can get on this regards. dref

      Have you tried flashing via a browser?

          re clone trouble

          i had another go.iflashed the box with peter-pan neverland 136 sim 2.01.using exactly the same method and it worked this time after about 5 unsucessful attempts mind you the box had been lying idle all night long. i wonder if this had anything to do with it. would it benefit me to persevere and try to use a more modern image. what would the benefits be. regards dref

              Dreamelite blackhole has a decent epg and Nabilosats blackhole looks wicked,take your pick.

                  Ive gone back to using OpenPLi, after messing about with various other images and am starting to wonder why i ever changed in the first place.

                  PLi is the mutts nuts...fast, stable, got a decent epg and some excellent HD skins.

                  Just dont use the OpenPLi 2.0 Beta images yet, as they're still heavily under development and are still buggy/unstable

                      use the new dream elite prz image mate best looking and fast as well as having cross epg built in
