    laptop hdd into dm800

sorry if its been covered before, but i have an old laptop that im going to get rid off, just wanted to know if it would be possible to mount the hdd ( which i already have removed from the laptop) inside my dm 800, what would i need?
or externally, but then would have to have some sort of power lead?

    regards

It will go internally, as long as its sata and you have all the bits and bobs to mount it inside. You should have been supplied with all the leads etc you need when you bought it.

      cheers for that,
i asked cos, the hdd i took out of the pc, didnt work, it wasnt a sata hdd.
was only when i tried to use the supplied lead it didnt plug in,
saying that it was an old laptop, dont think ive used it for about 3 years.
i will just bin it all.
