dreambox 800hd not getting any services

Hi again i'am realy having a bad time with this dreambox Iam pickup saterlites with a good signal but when I do a scan both in manual or auto it comes up with zero services found. I have even based on a single sat like hotbird and still there is zero signal found. I'am totaly lost now I have tried so many things now I'am about to give up. Can please any one help...

put a settings list in,no need to scan all the channels are in the list,vhannibal or catseye settings

hi Nick before you scanned for channels did you change the tuner settings i.e gone on advanced and changed lnb to 1

not sure how much ye know,need dreambox edit and need to send a settings list via ftp,basically this list has all the sats from east to west with all the channels in the list for each sat,just pick a channel and it goes to it if dish is set up

yes I did, also setup my lat and long.

Hi, I did that and yes the channels are there the dish moves to the sat and gives a good strong signal but no picture or sound. only a message comes up saying " TUNE FAILED".
I must be doing somthing wrong...

If your using DiSEqC 1.2 you will have to set-up the dish positions manually. If your using USALS it should be automatic.

Here's the USALS procedure that I used.
First make sure the dish is correctly aligned on a satellite, eg Astra 28.2E

Press Menu
Set Up
goto
Service Searching



Tuner Configuration



Choose Tuner ALPS BSBE2 (DVB-S2) - Press OK

also when scanning do you put network scan to yes

ive never goy usals to work on my 800,give each sat bits onw number and store it,advanced settings

Hi Gary Just to say thank you for giving me your time, it was all the same except the Polarization was on 13v but i just changed the settings also made sure the scan had network to yes but still got nothing,

hi Nick, if you still want to try and figure this out i will go through every stage with you from start to finish but i can only help you after 8.30pm when i get home and i can then look at my settings as we go along and my time is no problem just hope we can solve your problem.
