Upgrade from BL69 gemini 5.0 to?

Hi everybody,

I have a dreambox dm 800 hd sim 2.01 clone. I have flash it this week to bl69 gemini 5.0. This is a very old bootloader. When I look to different websites who offer images, there only the newest images like bl75, bl76.

What is the best upgrade for me now from bl69?

if you have sim 2.01 you just flash any image and use 76d bootloader on top

Thank you for you fast support. Before I flash bl76D I will ask you something was happening yesterday:

Start situation was flashing bl69 with the files below:

file 1: Gemini-5.0-OE1.6-dm800-SSL69_TSv2.nfi
file 2: secondstage-dm800-69.nfi

This works fine. The dreambox works and I can see channels on my tv.

I flashed my dreambox to a newer version 76A:

sim201e-76A-gemini2-510-dm800-20100721145005.rar:

file 1: OoZooN-Image-dm800-20100913.nfi
file 2: sim201e-76A-gemini2-510-dm800-20100721145005.nfi

It gives me an error "No ca found". I have installed the old image back with bl69 and now it works fine.

So is bl76D going to work if bl76A didnt work? Or did I have do something wrong with the flashing?

You dont have a sim 2.01 card then, maybe you have sim 1.0 ro 2.0

Oo my god. I have buy this dreambox second hands. I see a sticker below the dreambox with the text "inside sim 2.01". What is the best to do now?
How can I check which sim I have?

I have open my dreambox and I see a white sim card, with no text and no bubble.

Try this:
Load any image compatiable with sim 2.01 (do not reboot the box),
followed by the boot loader 69 that you have, then restart your receiver.

If it is sim 2.01 it will work.
Normally the Dream Ellite sim 2.01 works nicely.
If it loads and works then your sim is 2.01
