Dreamelite Hdd mounting?

Hey guys,

ok finally received my new dm800 pro. Now firstly i realised the M tuner inside is broken so has temporarily been replaced with the rev J tuner..... lets hope the new one arrives soon .

Whats the best skin for the dream elite 1.0 HD?

Anyways i fitted in my 320 gb toshiba hard drive and altho the dm recognises it when i try initializing i get a Mount Failed Error.

Previously this was being used on the Nabilo Blackhole image..

Any fixes?
Any methods maybe to mount/format it manually via telnet or so?

i didnt initialize my hdd.
i went to menu, down to 6 set up, 2 system then hdd, the harddisk set up, put whatever you want in the time.
exit back to screen, then blue button, blue again ( settings),
down to device manager, open, you should see the hdd, then mountpoints, mount/media/hdd, then ok. do not format it.

attempted didnt work for me bro:S maybe because this same hard drive was used on the nabilo image before...

any other ideas>??? maybe a different image???

try formating it first on device manager,
then try to do what i said in earlier post.

does it actually see the hdd, on device manager?
and also on hard drive menu, where it shows initialize.

if it does all that, have you told it where to record to on your recording path?

ok it seems it but cant mount it.

I ended up flashing the box with the ivcs image and i must say it's the best image i tried.

Much better then dreamelite. It's very fast, smooth, recording works, and all gemini plugins.

Installed ivcs, and then gp3 from inside the ivcs as a plugin its perfect!
