    in line amp blown

    Hi
i have a dreambox 800 hd with a long run of 80 meters with a in line amp half way between a technomate motor and dreambox 800 HD, its a new install worked great for two weeks then lost signal I traced back to the in line amp with black burn marks on the cable on the motor side of the amp (NOT Due to dampness) replaced and left the system working for a week then went down again last night same problem! has anybody got any ideas why this is happening

    thanks

If you fit an amp why dont you put it inside on a short length next to the receiver?
