    N00b help?

    Hi Guys,

I'm new to all this, so please forgive my ignorance.

I have borrowed a dm800 from a friend, i think it's a clone as the fan is VERY noisy inside it.

Anyway, it's setup so I can watch some "subscription" channels, however the HD ones are very pixelated.

I'm looking at getting one of these, would it help if I got a genuine box to stop the pixelation, or one of the new revision M tuners in the clones.

The only concern I have with the clones is will it go pete tong in a few months, I just want to load the software, sit back and watch some TV, I dont want to have to keep explaining to the Mrs about the pixelation and I dont want to keep having to update the software, oh on that note, is the software for the clones the same? I'm not sure if I will be putting on Gemini or Black hole.

Also, do the clones with with the 3D Channel?

    Cranky.
