Only picking up 28.2East, Help !

Hello all

the satellite man came out today to fix my dish due to it overturning, He fixed it and left me to scan in my channels, I manually scanned in the single satellite 28.2E, All channels where successfully installed in and are working without any problems, I now try and scan ANY other channel/satellite in, And pick NOTHING up ? Why would this be ? How can I fix it ?

Is the dish moving, also have you altered anything in you tuner configuration.
Instead of scaning everything, why dont you load a new set of channel lists via dreambox edit.

Long and lat is in yeah, dish is moving, and I have 19.2 Channel list loaded in mate, press channel, No signal, Pissing me off !?

update your satellites.xml file as thats what tells your receiver which transponders to scan on which satellite.

if not manual set dish to 0 and then reset the motor

select every satellite you want to receive ( you can only use one file so make sure there all in there )
also make sure you select .xml and not .ini.

once you have the file ftp it over to

ETC/

on your box over writing the original. once done do a scan on the satellites of your choice.

I have the same problem on my DM500S
I have signal for 13, 19.2 and 28.2 but when i scann i can only watch 28.2 channels eventhough others channels are listed i can't watch them no signal it says, really strange....

im getting a replacement box, could be my image, just not sure whats up atm.

Ok realy not understanding now, im picking up most HD feeds, And not SD feeds, So let me list the key problems :
Picking up HD feeds and not SD.
Not been able to scan in any other satellite or move to it when i select scan.
Fixed to 28.2E because the box isn't driving the motor.
motor works as sat man was up there with meter, HELP !

Has your sat guy reset the box, if he has you will need to setup your tuner config. Use one of the stickies using usals or non usals.
