help needed with dreambox keys please

can any body help i have a dreambox clone 800hd with black hole instaled and i think egnima i am new to this is it possibel to but certains keys in the image to get certain channels or do i have to c/s i have a motorised dish if it is possible is ther a idiots guide on how to start so i can have a play i am not intested in sly just other foregin sats which i can get a few english speeking channels

im not experienced with keys i must be honest im pretty sure u need to load a cam then the key files however would be better if someone who has actually done it talked u through it

Alright bud I am no expert but I think you need satan keys which you upload to the appropiate folder in your dreambox.

i know the keys go in var etc im not sure what cam is required tho

how to load keys via dreambox control centre

Ensure you have you dreambox connected to your router, and pc already connected to your router too.

Launch dcc, ensure you have all the passwords correct..

Select ftp. If all the passwords and login are correct then the screen will show you a split screen with files on either side. Left hand side is your dreambox and the right hand side if your pc.

Make sure you downloaded the latest dreambox key files or the latest softcam.key. Click on the right hand box and browse you pc for the downloaded dreambox key file.

In the left hand window select the approriate file structure to send the keys to.

Enigma 1 = files go into var/keys and var/scce
Enigma 2 = files to into usr/keys and usr/scce.

Send the files across to the appropriate files on the dreambox. The files softcam.key is the file where the latest keys are kept. Should you want to manually edit the keys. Right click on the hand window, softcam.key. Open the file in notepad and edit the keys manually. Exit and save to update the file.

can i download dreambox key files or the latest softcam key doesnt it matter and does it matter what image i have on if it makes a diff rence my cccam.cfg folder is in the etc folder

if so they just go inwhere you said if they are nogood can i just delet them it wont bugger my dreambox up

are these keys the same ? I'm in Sg, how do i get the keys to be used in Sg only?
