DM800, no access to addons...

Have flashed the box with 2 different DreamElite images and both are saying 'Sorry, connection failed' when i try downloading addons via addons manager.

Have tested and restarted the network several times.

Images were flashed via the network, so it deffo only the internet causing the grief.

Have restarted the router and the modem several times, its a cabled connection btw.

Any ideas?

Was gonna try a new image to see how it worked, but if its no use, fair enough.

Already fixed this twice today.

When you fix it again make sure you flash with the correct BL. How are you fixing it and breaking it again ?

Ive used the image i found on my HD, thought it was one i had used previous, possably a rogue one ive dl'd and not used.

To get the no CA fixed ive been using the patched dreamup, no issues except how long it takes.

Flashed the last two images fine, but no internet access once its setup.

If you still cant connect to the internet when you are up and runnung again, it must be the router that is'nt assigning a ip address to your dm. Check your router settings.

Can't see what would be causing that. Doing my fkin nut in, it'll be something daft, I know it.

dream elite servers been gone for months, thats why you cant connect.

as dc said try nablo blackhole, same image basicly.

have you tried assiging a static ip addy to box? if router is 192.168.0.1 set dm to 192.168.0.5

as said m8, its the image, not connection issues.

Kicked in first time once i actually found a proper image for my box.
