Just getting my DM800 sorted just wondered if anyone has any tips to keep it running nice and safe.

I have changed the root password from the default one. Should I change its default port? Does anyone run theirs through a proxy any recommendations in setting this up.

Really enjoying learning about this box huge step up from my old box!

Don't forward any ports from your router that are in use by the DM to the DM, simplest way. So don't forward port 22 from your router to the DM, that way no-one can access it via ssh, same for any other port really.

My master plan is to live forever..... going to plan so far
Despite the cost of living, it's still very popular.
