    DM500HD lost sats in wind

    Hi all,

looks like the wind recently moved my dish about.

    I have a 500HD with motorised setup.

I have managed to re-align 13e with 100% signal by using the positioner setup on Gemini image. But does anybody know how to store this position manually as when i leave the positioner setup page and go back to selecting a channel from 13 bouqet it moves the satellite to where it thinks 13 e should be.

It is currently set up using usals, is there any chance this is solvable with the remote or is this looking more like getting on the roof job?

    Thanks for any help

annoying thing is i can see the sat must have only moved cm's east because on positioner setup if i "fine move" west once the sats come in 90+ signal but i cant see a way of storing them.

looks like il be on the roof this weekend then.

also Could anyone just clarify something please?

if the pole is dead level and satellite is alligned with 0 on the motor facing south with lats and longs inputted in usals, will it pick the sats up automatically or will i have to allign 1w Thor again as i have read somewhere you dont necessarily have to align to a sat if using usals correctly

      thanks

Best to do it the proper way m8 Thor is the most reliable and best way to get strong signal
