Cant connect to dm800

I have a dm800 with a sky card in it. Sharing to 2 boxes internally. Both shares stopped working this morning so i tried to access the cccam web interface but cant access it. Then tried to connect to the box via flashxp but can't do that either. The strange thing is my dm800 seems to have an internet connection as in the menu it has assigned an ipaddress.

Any idea what could be wrong, it cant be a faulty ethernet port as if it was my dm800 wouldnt have an ip address assigned to it.

Are you able to ping the dm800 from your pc? Have you thought of giving it a static ip address and then tried connecting with that address?

I gave it a static ip address and it seems to be working now. Not sure what the problem was because the ip address has always been the same for my dm800. Thanks for the info, hopefully the ip address will stop this happening again

as curious said you need to set the box with card in a static ip address (all you do is disable dhcp in the box ) ,if you dont the router can change the ip of the box i quess your router hadnt changed the ip up untill now .
