external drive advice pls

Hi after stopping my hardrive from making nasty clunking sounds im now ready to use it .Can you transfer a film say from my dreambox hardrive to my external one without using my pc? ...im using the blackhole image ..Thanks ..Rhurbarb

No Problem ..harddrive had two usb leads ..plugged both into the twin usb ports instead of one on the dreambox 800hd ..Not sure if one way is different to the other but fixed the problem Cheers ..Rhurbarb
