dm800 setup ??????????

hi guys im completely stumped my mate has got dm800 his latitude is 51.8449 and longitude is -2.2159 first question is this entered into the dm800 as 051.845 and 002.215 and this is the one that has me completely stumped ;


he has his dish all setup ready to go however no matter what he does he can only get 30% on 1 west i then told him to send the dish to hotbird and it seems to go that way but just wont lock onto it apart from thor and even then his signal is crap

im guesing its the actual motor or alignment thats at fault tho ........

nope , dont enter it like that mate , put postcode into multimap , and look at bottom right , should get co-ordinates in brackets ,

i think the minus sign equates to east on dm box ?

ok mate he done it and its

any ideas on how he puts it into dm800?

Within the tuner menu mate , select simple / usals , and enter details

yeah no probs how would u input that into dm800 so as the decimal point is in the same place?

just skim the numbers off the end . just input as many figures to the right of the decimal as dm800 will allow , dont worry if you cant get all figures in
