TV2 PL TRANSPONDER WON?T SCAN

Hi

I cannot get a signal on 0.8w Nor for the new transponder 10747H 25000 for the PL TV HD channels.

I know it is not a dish problem because of good signal & quality on other transponders. I have a Fracarro Penta 85cm which is excellent and the alignment is spot on.

I am pretty sure it is a receiver problem I have a DM 800 and when I try to manual scan I am getting 0 services found. I have tried these settings as stated in the listings on King of Sat

Transponder 10747 H
Frequency 25000
3/4
DVB-S2
8PSK


Has anyone had this problem? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Yeh I have got teh same problem and like you waiting for a response from some one because I am always watching te footie on there

Hi guys I also had this problem, i done a manual scan on the transponder,
but I changed the modulation setting from QPSK to 8PSK and scanned and this brought back the service hope this helps.

I think I have cracked it, I switched the pilot setting over to auto and the channels scanned in, only problem is when I open any of the PL channels I get a message saying Tune Failed the SNR is 0 and then it opens after about 10 seconds getting 46 SNR and it is perfect. It seems as though it struggles to get signal and then it clears.

I have been told on another forum that it is a common Dream box 800 clone problem.

Hi when did this issue start. I know it worked 2 weekends ago when i last viewed on match on TV2 PL and hopefully when i get home tommorow it still works

I think the new frequency's started in January. I only noticed a few days ago.

Ah interesting. That flipping explains everything i went through a month ago. Could not connect to Thor channels the signal came and went. I also had issues with 4.8 as well

I changed images, moved from USALS to Diseqc. Spent a whole day on it. Then when i downloaded the new vhannibal settings onto the box i was then able to get a signal which stuck.
