A little help please, noob here!

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could help me kindly, before you ask, Yes, I'm a noob. I admit it Wish I was an expert but it takes time, reading tutorials etc.

I have a DM800HD, once it boots up it has a gemini project in the background along with "Loading Enigma2".

I am trying to retrieve the free sky channels but it won't allow me to do that - As it has "Hunan (19.2E)" on it, I looked everywhere for 28.2E (Sky) but it doesn't have it. Would I have to install that as an addon?

Also, I wouldn't require a subscription with Sky to gain the free channels right? Since it's free, I would believe you wouldn't need to be subscribed with Sky. I have a mini-sky dish.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Recheck pick single Satalite and scan
You will pick up 1000 channels
But just the free will clear .................Paul

Thanks for the reply. I believe that Google does not have minds such as members who are on this board . Maybe it has been resolved elsewhere, but I had thought I should post here since it's a forum related to sat, dm, etc.

I had to enable it in the satellite.xml settings on my box as only 13.0e and 19.2e were enabled. You just need to tick the 28.2 box to enable if you should then be able to scan it

Tick? I changed the values from 0 to 1 for 28.2E. Nothing else. Still require help please

no worries mate was kidding , if u have probs first off i would change the image mate to dream elite or open pli ( or tho image is a personal preference i also find these are the best noob images) once changed load a boquet with the correct files for 28.2e ( sgtflipflop who regular posts on here is awesome) and then u should have success
