    Thinking Of Buying DM800 HD

Hi im getting new motorised dish fitted this week and thinking of treating myself to the dreambox 800hd clone- the one fom here
DM800HD (S) (NEW VERSION DM800PRO) SATELLITE RECEIVER LATEST TUNER REV (M for PRO) BSBE2-801A - ukdreamshop this is the one to go for as is latest version REV M TUNER-BSBE2-801A TUNER but problem is my knowledge in IT skills is not very good but see there is alot of info in dreambox section to set this box up and as i have a spiderbox 9000hd(plug and play) at moment but private server issues on some european packages if you no what i mean but not blaming that as it is the box itself- ccCam issues, anyway i am a patient person and there is no rush in me learning how to setup the new box and when i finally get thing sorted find some sane person to buy the spiderbox of me(just kidding) so do you think im im doing the right thing on buying box as box is on sale at moment with only a few left at sale price.

I got my Dm800 fom UKdream a few months ago and it's been great. It's my 1st satellite box after using eurvoxes for virgin media for a couple of years. I found it really easy to set up. All i had to do was scan, enter c line and i was done.

          Looking into DM800 HD

Im looking into this box aswell, not to technical myself, but is this dual tuner? meaning that it will work on cable aswell, my experience is with SV7, on the cable side. Yes Im looking for the Sat side, but just in case i want to be able to use the cable side if there is a new server.

Also for the DM800 HD to work all i need is a see-line and thats it? cheers

This box does not have dual tuner , however the tuners are plug an play , bit like pci cards on a computer , you will need to buy a separate tuner for cable. About 30-40 quid ,
