    "Tune Failed" on several channels

    Hi all,

Several channels on my DM800HD give the error "Tune Failed" when I select them and no picture is shown. It seems random as to which channels give this error: BBC News and Channel 4 HD are 2 of them and I can't figure out a pattern between them? I think it may be to do with the LNB which is old but I am not too sure.

    Any help?

    Thanks

have you triued your skew angle on your lnb, 1oclock and 7oclock rule of thumb and dish tilt is also important

If you load some up to date channels settings to box , it may fix this issue if the problem channels have changed frequency recently ,
Look for Sgt flip flops , think they in sticky thread now

Yes I'm using sgt flip flops bouquets.

I think it may be a satellite/lnb issue, as I had freesat until recently and then one day BBC News just stopped working along with a few other channels. Not sure if I should get a new LNB or satellite?

I had this problem only the other day, Eliminated everything 1 by 1 and found it was the power supply, Wasn't emitting enough power, Bought a new 1 and jobs a good un again
