    Technomate 5400 CI + USB With 1M Motor Dish

    Hello, just bought a Technomate 5400 CI + USB With 1M Motor Dish. is this a good setup to start off with.

    Bit late to ask advice if you already bought it.
    To be honest not the best of choices as this type of receiver is running out of options to clear channels.

      Have to agree with Manic ... was a good box in its day(i still have mine)

      With the way things have moved on there a lot better options for only a few pounds more.

      I think you will be wanting a upgrade sooner rather than later, think about what your needs are , then do some reading or ask for advice.

          Got it for mainly for footy ect... and to get a bit of experience as im pure newbie, still trying to set it up .
          ive Downloaded that std tm fixed and motorised setup.zip link above, ive extracted it, but what do i open it with, tryed word, pdf reader, it opens but all muddled up. thanks

            Its a word document, opens fine for me ... if still having trouble download open office ... its free ... and works to.
