    tm6800hd

hi folks, first post. i have a tm6800hd, a topfield 7700hsci and a humax hdci2000. i'm looking to put one of these as a back-up to my wife's humax foxsathd freesat receiver. it will be connected to our 1M motorised dish and as an invalid she is confined to our bedroom a lot. she is a keen tennis fan and it would be nice if i could use one of these stb's for that purpose. i would think the TM would be the answer but the channels on it are completely out of date. could someone suggest how i can get one of these to do the job. a spiderbox 9000hd is driving the dish. thanks for reading this.

exactly what channels are you after mate I assume they must be on 28E if your talking freesat.A simple re-scan will update most of the channels on the TM although some HD channels may need the TPs adding if Home - FlySat Satellite Chart doesnt help get back with what you want and I"ll try and help

sorry dick, didn't make myself clear. wifey's freesat is connected to sky dish. the technomate(or other stb) is connected to 1M motorised dish. as isaid, she loves tennis and if i can get TM up to date, she can watch it on that on whatever sat. it's on.

not really into sport but others may be able to help.
But with the TM6800HD and patch 704p and latest softcam you can get eurosport in english on Bulsat at 39E at the moment BUT that may not last much longer and its doubtful it will still be available for wimbledon.you can also get eurosport2 on 23.5E with patch(in dutch) or its FTA in german on 19.2E.
Treat your wife to another spiderbox the sports channel selection is large(including eurosport in english on 19E)you can still get a 7000HD on offer for ?145 or an sd 5000 for ?89.

thanks dick, didn't want to go to the expens of another spiderbox, was hoping i could manage with the TM and latest s/w. still have an old dragon cam but i understand they're out of fashion now. i'll have to think about it.
          regards, A.
