    TM6800HD Super+ Freesat Channels Scrambling

    Hi Guys,
My freesat sly card unlocks five, fiver, channel 4 hd, five hd, etc but after say an hours viewing a scrambled channel message comes on screen. Turning the box off and on again clears the problem but if recording these channels the recording fails when the signal is scrambled.
I have the latest patch installed (7.39p)

when was the last time you had it in an skybox these cards need to be updated in skybox to stay active the longer you leave it the sooner it will scramble if you don't have a skybox give it to a friend for a day or two to leave in the s box overnight.this needs to be done every 4-6 weeks

It was last in a sky box about 4 weeks ago. However this problem has been ongoing since it was last refreshed. Also I was under the impression the 6800HD+ would keep the card active. Seems to be just a problem with 4HD, 5HD, ITV1HD.

no tm or other stb a part from officialsky stb's will keep card active some cam's claim to keep skycards active but i have no experience with them.I put my freesatcard in the skybox every few days and i have no problems in my tm's did you try entering the nds key by going into menu>smartcard>card+>press yellow button >enter the number of the skybox that the card was activated in(you get this in the menu of skybox in systeminfo)this might keep it more stable.

I previously entered the NDS key in the way you suggested. It has been in there since before the last time the card was refreshed. I noticed the last digit of the serial number is not displayed i.e. serial number is 9 characters and only 8 are displayed.

if you follow the process there is 10 numbers you could enter if your skybox has 9 characters leave first one 0
i'm not talking about the serialnr. of the card.
You should have no problems with channel 4HD now cause that
FTA now i think FIVE HD is to follow FTA next
