constantly freezing channels on technomate 500

Hi everyone am preety new to this site so i apologise if i say anything wrong.

i have a problem last week i bought a technomate500 and from the start i noticed there was minor freezing.

but today i was trying to watch a game every 2 seconds it was freezing constantly. i have a 10mb internet i dont know if the internet is weak signal or something.

my modem only has one ethernet port usually i use that port for my wireless but wen the box is in use i cant use laptop!

please advice, many thanks

i miss old boxes that did not use the internet to work!

overloaded server, get onto the supplier!! PLEASE GUYS!! do not buy any tm500/600 or dm500/800 with s** channels included as you are 90% certain of being shafted. regards mdt

hopefully i will chase the supplier about this, in the case it does turn to him giving me another box which box is worth even getting?

i think my friend got osram or something he told me that freezez occasionally as well.

i paid ?200 for the box.

is theer any boxex taht work without the net or dish?

Probably nothing wrong with the box it's the server you are connected to that's preloaded into the tm that's overloaded
maybe time to learn more about the box and the setup and try and get a different server to connect to.

i learnt the hardway buying boxes on servers i took it back the guy said he will change the server, he did it froze more i went in again he said sorry have another box that was worse i popped in again and got some money back but got a blank box to put on a different server

go to menu setup soiftcam setup make sure the cam is on, not common interface

Why did you pay 200 quid for a 70 quid box ? You will always get problems like this if you buy pre-configured trader supplied plug and play boxes...

Your settings are probably OK, as traders normally lock the boxes with password so you can change any settings. Check if you have access to your settings, if theyre not password protected, check to make sure your tuner is setup for the correct satellite.

Check that Softcam is selected as already advised, check your internet conenctivity, RJ45 cable to the box etc...

If your sure no settings have changed and your interent connection is working correctly, then return the box to the trader who supplied it, the CS server has probably gone down..or your C-line has been removed...
