Dear All,
I'm new to non-Sky satellite TV, and I've recently purchased a Technomate TM-5200 D USB Super + receiver.
I've also bought a dish and an LNB, which I'm planning to set up for the German channels on Astra 19.2 degrees East, although this is still a work in progress. Both the dish and LNB are from Technomate.
I am also feeding the receiver a signal from Astra 2 (Freesat) from an old minidish via a DiSEqC.
Although there's still some work to do in getting the new dish correctly aligned, I've noticed an issue with the receiver, which is showing most (but not all) frequencies slightly off, for example showing Astra 2 TP 45 as 10.772 GHz, rather than 10.773. On some transponders the variance is greater.
Is this anything I need to worry about? Everything is still being received OK, but it does seem a bit disconcerting as a noob!
I've experimented with different LNB LO frequency settings, which, oddly, doesn't seem to have had any impact at all. The issues occurs on both satellite positions.
Is this simply within the margin of error for the LNB downconversion process, or do I have a problem somewhere?
Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to offer.
Best Wishes,
WiltsRM
