hi guys i have a technomate tm 600 and all was well and now i have a problem my net was cut off for a few days and now i have loss of channeals why is this and what can i do to fix it?

im a baby to all this so take it easy. many thanks

is your net back on if yes press lan button and make sure dhcp is set to on, if it is saying it is connected and there is a ip address present there try rebooting your stb and router, if still no joy contact your c-line provider......regards bj1

your c-line provider is the ip address that your box connects to so it can unlock channels. did you buy your box "fully loaded"?, if so you need to do alot of reading and google cs to give you more info as we cant go into too much detail here on dk. regards mdt

ya it was fully loaded and the guy just side something about the mac address will sort it out???

i think you should tell him the problem as he has preloaded your box and only he can sort it out, or go the route that mdt told you but this is only gonna cost you more money...all the best BJ1

all the guy has asked me for is money ( BIT ) and my mac address he dont need the box? so this means i can do it? but i dont know how??????? any idea guy?

you should not have to do anything on your end but you are trusting this man with your money there is always a risk to be taken when viewing tv this way.........its your choice and your gamble

looks like he,s put a block on your ip/mac addy and untill you stump up more cash your stuck with fta. basically he,s running a payserver! if you are happy with the service he provides and you feel its worth it then continue with your man, if not then google c/s and do it yourself. regards mdt
