TM 1500 signal fault

Hi Im a newbie in here can anyone help I have a problem with my tm1500 as that when searching for channels get a few for a short while then come up no signal any help appreciated

sounds like your dish is out of line.
give us more info on what you have and what you are trying to do,like what sat and what setup.

sorry mate was testing it on the sky dish got channels up no probs then it drops the signal tested the l&b voltage thinking it was dropping but its constant only lasts couple min max then drops out thought it might be a common fault on these the on screen display ie quality is shooting up and down shows full strength when first on then when it drops out shooting fron zeroup to 80percent do technomate epair then or will they release any servicing info

have you anyway of testing the dish with a different sat box
to make sure it's not the dish or lnb.(a neigbours sat box)

Thanks mate I also Have a sky box have that on at the minute and is working great so dont think it is the dish or lnb im well confused

Sounds like power supply or tuner.
Not really worth expensive to repair as receivers so cheap now days and HD very cheap as well.

This sounds like a short and as the sly box works from the same sat cable without problems would suggest that the short is internal on the TM box.
The TM 1500 ci is an old box and may have damage at the sat in connection through years of use.
