How do I get BBC HD and BBC1 HD back..?

Could anyone give me some idiot-proof instuctions on how to retune my TM6800HD USB box to pick up the newly hidden HD BBC channels...
I've been trying for hours and getting nowhere...

I've already established that they are on:

ASTRA 2D tp.50 (How do I get to that...It doesn't appear in my list of satellites)

    TP 10,847 V

    DVB-S2 QPSK

SYM 23.000 (Mine defaults to 22.000 and won't let me alter it)

    FEC 8/9

    Is all this info correct...?
If so how do I access the TV channels...?
Precise instructions would be a god-send as the details in the manual are very vague to say the least

Could the software level of the box be an issue...?

    S/W Ver 6.44
    H/W Ver 1.00
    Boot Ver 1.00
    CH Ver F010

    Any help very much appreciated..

satellite should be listed as 28.2E astra2/eurobird go to menu>installation> advanced search.scroll TPs til you find 10.847 and then delete transponder(yellow button) then green button(add TP)and enter the following 10.847>23000>V>DVB-S2 QPSK>8/9>pilot OFF then red button (scan) once scan is complete exit to full screen then new channels can be found at the end of the channel list.you can then move them where you want.any probs get back.

You should just be able to alter the 22000 to 23000 and exit and channel will clear.

yes he is but will get it in the end if he plays around with it.when I re set mine the transponder went to zeros as soon as I changed the sym rate and modulation so had to be re entered anyway.so I thought it best if he went from scratch.

i onli had the astra sat.. so it wouldnt let me advance scan.. i jst made a 0.0 satellite.. then added the TP.. scanned n moved bbc hd , bbc one hd and itv hd into my HD fav listing

well i readded Channel 4 Hd that works.. bt after 2 mins of having BBC hd channels.. they stopped workin

i think its to do with QPSK n dvbs2... bt i cant change them on TM5402?

                any Ideas

Delete tp, then add again and rescan.

                      Problem sorted...New problem created...!!

Thank-you so much for your help...

Apologies for my delayed response but I had a major system failure today....Head-crash on the system hard-drive
All fixed now though...IT disasters are my field...

I knew I'd already been down the route you suggested but the secret to success was the delete button (Something I tend to avoid when I'm not sure what I'm doing..!)

I must dispute "Then he's doing it wrong isn't he."
When modifying a TP, on my box anyway, the only field that is non-updatable is the SYM field...Trying to add a new TP with 23000 gave a "TP already exists message".
A delete/define was the answer..(In case anyone else has the same problem)

The scan gave me the 2 BBC channels as well as an encrypted version of ITV 1 HD...Is that as expected..?

Unfortunately a new problem now exists...
The Timer process is not working as it should...
Probably be a good idea to empty the timer prior to changing the TP...
When I go into the timer (EPG button>Red button) the timer screen appears for a split second
and then the box shuts down and restarts which breaks the link to the external drive..
The only way to get the drive to be recognised again is by using the check disk function...
Strangely though, the programs defined in the timer are still recording successfully...

Is there a way of clearing out the timer without actually going into it...?

P.S. One of the comments in this thread suggests that CH4 HD is accessible...If so how...(Or should I put that question in another thread)

I would back up channellist and do a factory reset for that problem and reload latest patch i'm asuming you have the 6800 non super so latest patch here Download center put channel list back on and rescan all sat's in use.
                              This should empty timer properly.
