Newbe needs help nothing new :)

I have a technomate 5400ci. I installed the patch and uploaded the softcam update to the unit most chanels dont work #9example polsat2 on 13.0E so I must have done something wrong?? Please help.

you hav'nt done anything wrong polsat has changed encryption
to nagra 3 and is now no longer available. and tps has moved to
astra 19e and has also changed encryption, there are probily a few
of the polsat chns still open but not many, the patch opens the most
chns on thor 1w [digi-tv] look on there if you can
you dont say if your system is fixed or motorised, if motorised think about
getting a diablo cam and cas 3 and then you will get lots of extra chns that
are not open with the patch from 16e and 1w satellites

Thanks for your help, yep its motorised. Was looking into getting a cam diablo seems to be the one most mentioned. Is nagra 3 unlocable?

nagra 3 is'nt available yet mate, i'm sure someone will
be working on it but D+ and cabo has ben down for over
a year. and still not open it's a wait and see time at the moment
but the diablo will give all the channels that open on the
patch. plus lots of extra chns

1 west will give you two packages with a diablo cam... Both showing prem FOOTY.. The patch itself will give you one of them..

Perfect! One question in relation to cams. Is the diablo cam the best to get? My dad has a matrix cam (someone setup the system for him, like me he really has no clue about it). I mainly am looking for italian and polish channels and searching for the odd live feeds (used to do it on my dads system, it can be interesting what you can find sometimes) anything else is a bonus.

Looking into it a cas 3 is a programmer am i correct in saying that? if so again is it a good one or by spending a little more could i get something allot better?

Is softcam and option? See it discussed a few times but not too much info on it.

I intend to get a cam, blank cards and a programmer to start experimenting with.

You will get rai with softcam and that is italian... The only polish package has just changed to n3 so is now unavailable...
Diablo is slightly better then the matrix...
