    Help wanted in Lowestoft

Hello everyone! Can someone help please?
Does anyone live near to Lowestoft - Suffolk, who would give me some help/tuition on patching, uploading channels etc
I?ll pay for petrol, refreshments etc. Or fee if not too expensive!
    I have:
80cm motorised dish that doesn?t move (Gonna change the cable)
Technomate T6900 Super Combo plus, that is just being used for freeview only (wot a waist).
    Duolabs CAS Interface 2
    GBSAT C120 (redundant)

Also I would like to play video?s from USB hard drive thru the T6900 (if possible)

patches you will find here Download center
just put on a usb device and load to your tm in the main menu>usb menu>data transfer just click on the file you want to load to your tm if you want to use cccam you will have to load latest addon too you will find here Download center and all other files will load the same to your tm
you will not be able to play any video's with your tm6900
unless they are .trp files you can only play video's files on the newer tm's like the 6902+7102+5402 they have a divix player built in ,any other questions just ask

Thanks Thijss, I will have a go at that later.
I made a temp replacement cable, after finding a nibbled portion of the old one. A little fiddling with the TM6900 settings, like my Long/Lat (I think my son had reset it to default) disabled the limits and everything was OK. So I need to make temp cable fixed perminent then download and apply patches and have a play with C-Tech Editor for my channel list.
      What is cccam?

cccam would be a way to share a card over the internet
with someone or payserver the 6900 would be client only
so you can not share out.
And why would you pay someone to set up your tm all the info you need is on the web
but you need to learn how to walk before you can run just be patienced
and you will get there tm's non linux are very easy to use compared to linux boxes

Hi eigger. I'm just down the coast in Felixstowe and have the same box and setup as yourself. If you still need a hand give me a shout and I'll pop up and help you.
