Hi all ,

a friend of mine purchased setop box from topboxes.biz recently . approx 2 weeks ago which cost him ?200 for a technomate 500 super box. he was under the impression that he wud be able receive channels via a subscription from them which was included in the price for a year . alls he has managed to receive is FTA Channels. TOPBOXES.BIZ Website seems to be gone now . has he simply been done .. or is he missin something here ,.

Both his web page and his server which is or was in Canada are gone. I've heard from another site that he's had a knock on the door, I would advise your mate to disconnect his box from the internet. I know a few people in the same boat he has put his own password in so you can't gain access to the root but hopefully this can be worked around as soon as I hear anything I will post here

i also got a box from this guy,, 11 months ago, to be honest it was a fair deal at the time.
box has been down for a week now and i was gonna sub for another year, thankfuly i didnt as he now seems to be gone.
tuxbox comander will surely solve the password problem to give you root access to the box, it did for me when i had to update the bouquets on a dm800.
