    right patching and softcams are still in use for your box but for how much longer is anybodies guess.
    to use the latest softcam you must patch the box 1st.
    download patch and softcam and unzip both load the patch into the box 1st.
    if using USB format a usb stick to fat32 put in your computer locate the unzipped patch and softcam and copy to the stick.
    put stick in the TM5400 press usb on the handset and scroll to data transfer>OK highlight the patch>OK wait for patch to load and stb to reboot.then go back to data transfer highlight the softcam>OK.
    I"m also sending a loader for loading via the rs232 port.I prefer this method for patching as its more reliable.to do it this way connect your box via its rs232 port to the rs232 port on your computer, download and unzip loader,open loader browse for and click on and open the unzipped patch click on connect.wait for patch to load and box reboot.you can load softcams this way too just click on the "keys"tab at the top of the loader.I"ve also sent the instructions for a forced download if you get any problems. any questions just ask someone will have an answer.
    PS open softcam with "notepad"to see whats available on 39E,19E 4.8E etc;
